Ravi Wijewardena used to be a permanent singer of the Band, Dew Drops in Colombo with Gihan de Silva before migrating to UK. He is originally from Opanayake and is now working a Nurse in UK. Ravi's voice began to become popular while he was a student at the Nurses Training School of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka in 1992. He started studying Eastern music in 1996 and from 1998 on words, Ravi worked in the band Dew Drops. The included songs in this page are 3 original songs of Ravi that will be included in his debut CD titled, Seetha Rae with music compositions by Nawarathna Gamage, H M Jayawardena, and Gihan de Silva. Ravi's songs are played in Sri Lankan airwaves with much popularity in the networks RUPAVAHINI, SWRNAVAHINI, ITN, SIRASA, and LAKHANDA.
